In another county, Heather Frank, 48, a mother of three, was brutally murdered on 16 February 2020. Her remains were found inside a small Weld County home with two gunshot wounds to the heart.

Heather and Scott had reportedly been seeing one another. So, it didn’t take long for investigators to establish a link between the two cases.

Who Was Scott Sessions?

Scott Sessions, who was born on 25 March 1966, was a well-known trumpet performer. The longtime Greenley resident performed at various concerts all around Colorado. The late musician was popular in the local area.

Scott’s last performance was with the band “The Movers & Shakers.” The musical group had just returned from a competition at a global blues festival in Memphis.

Scott also enjoyed performing with “George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band.” 

Moreover, after earning his high school degree from Greeley West High School, the trumpet player went to Brigham Young University and majored in music.

Besides in Colorado, Sessions had performed throughout the US and Europe as a member of BYU’s top jazz band, Synthesis.

Scott was happiest when he was on stage. The musician also loved spending time outside and going on hikes with his Springer Spaniel, “Molly.”

Furthermore, the musician was a generous person who was always first in the line when it came to helping others. Scott Sessions was unmarried and didn’t have kids.

He left behind his parents Stan and Linda Sessions, a brother, Steve Sessions; two nephews, Aaron and Jacob Sessions; aunts and uncles and lastly, his beloved cat Munchkin.

Scott Sessions’ family, friends, and people who admired him gathered and celebrated his life and fun memories on 28 March 2020 at the Journey Christian Center in Greeley, Colorado.

Although he had to leave soon, Scott Sessions still lives in his family’s and admirers’ hearts.

Who Killed Scott Sessions?

After the authorities discovered Heather Frank’s body, they could list a suspect. Following several strategies, they arrested Frank’s off-again-on-again boyfriend, Kevin Eastman.

Kevin, who had a history of domestic abuse, was in a relationship with Heather Frank. After a long abusive relationship, Frank had reportedly managed to escape it.

Despite it all, her past life and ex-boyfriend continued to haunt her and eventually took her and the musician’s life.

According to the Weld County District Attorney’s Office, Eastman was ultimately charged with both murders and found guilty of two counts of first-degree ******.

In addition, he was also convicted of two counts of interfering with a deceased human body and two counts of destroying physical evidence following a three-week trial in Weld County last year.

Eastman was ordered to serve two consecutive life sentences and 27 more years in the Colorado Department of Corrections.
