Shaquil Barrett’s daughter Arrayah Barrett passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of two. Arrayah was the youngest of four kids.
Following the announcement of an obituary, everyone was left stunned. The young lady died after getting drowned in a pool. Reportedly, Arrayah drowned in a swimming pool at the Pro Bowl player’s Tampa Bay residence.
The incident happened at approximately 9:30 am on Sunday morning. Officers went to the NFL star’s home after receiving a call reporting that a kid had fallen into a swimming pool in the area.
Immediately, Arrayah was rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly. She was not saved despite the life-saving measures taken following the incident.
While authorities did not reveal details about the circumstances of the drowning, they did ensure that the investigation stayed open and that the happening was purely accidental.
