Stacie Marie Laughton arrested news is all over the internet, and people are piqued to know more. American politician Stacie-Marie represented New Hampshire in the House from 2020 to 2022.

He represented Hillsborough County’s District 31. She was a Democrat who had previously been elected to the house in 2012 to represent Nashua’s Ward 4.

However, she resigned from her post as Representative-elect after a previous criminal conviction came to light. She served as the ward’s selectwoman as well.

Laughton was the first openly transgender person to be elected to a state legislature anywhere in the United States and the first openly transgender elected official in New Hampshire.

After her victory, the media revealed that Laughton had been given prison terms of 7 1/2 to 15 years for conspiring to steal credit cards and 3 1/2 to 7 years for fabricating physical evidence.

The Belknap County Department of Corrections later lowered the concurrent sentences to one year. After serving for four months, she was granted her freedom after ten years of “good behavior.”

Stacie Marie Laughton arrested news is all over the internet. A Nashua Democrat who has been arrested numerous times before is in legal danger once more after being implicated in at least two stalking episodes in nearby Hudson.

Stacie Marie Laughton, a state representative, was detained by Nashua police on Saturday in connection with an arrest warrant out of Hudson for allegedly violating a stalking order.

The case has little available information. However, the Hudson Police Department’s second shift commander, Lt. Roger Lamarche, verified the arrest and the charge.

On November 8, Laughton was charged by the police with corresponding with the victim via social media.

Laughton, who is also a municipal selectman, was the subject of the protection order when it was submitted on July 25.

Lamarche claims that Laughton has already been detained on suspicion of speaking with the victim.

In late August, she was charged with stalking and harassment, and in early September, she was taken into custody.

Where Is She Now Jail or Prison?

She is being detained in Manchester’s Valley Street Jail. She was detained in July 2021 on charges of violating seven laws regarding penalties for providing false information and abusing the state’s 911 texting system.

According to a post on Patch, she allegedly stated that she was being spoofed at the time.

While residing in Laconia as a man, she was found guilty in 2008 of conspiring to commit credit card fraud and falsifying physical evidence.

In November 2012, she was elected as the first transgender official in New Hampshire and one of only a handful nationwide, around four years after she initially appeared on the ballot to compete for state representative in Nashua.

Her felony status and jail time were made public after her election. Laughton resigned after speaking with state Democrats and considering the media coverage.

Going Back To Politics

Laughton established an exploratory committee in 2019 and paid $2,000 in reparations to be permitted to run for public office once more in the hopes of returning to the city administration.

In Nashua, she ran for and won the position she had previously held as selectman. She ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2020 and successfully won the position.

Laughton was detained once more in November 2022 in violation of a restraining order.

An arrest has been made on child pornography allegations against a transgender former state representative from Nashua who made national headlines in 2022 after being forced to retire after being jailed for stalking a woman in Hudson.

On Thursday, Stacie of Derry was taken into custody on four felony counts of disseminating photos of child sexual assault.

The Nashua Police Department’s public information officer said the case came to light on Tuesday when officers were directed to a nearby institution for a juvenile concern.
