As per the reports, Star Stowe was killed and dumped away on March 16, 1997. Further, reports say she was murdered between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

On March 15, 1997, Stowe was seen around her neighborhood. Moreover, sources claim Stowe was with a client a day before she was found dead.

After a short talk with her customer, Stowe entered her client’s car.

Sadly, Stowe was found dead; she was half-naked, and the report revealed she was strangled. Her dead body was discovered on the sidewalk beside a Coral Springs Eckerd pharmacy.

Only Sandra Kay Walters, another prostitute who had also been strangled to death and been discovered in similar circumstances, was known to the authorities regarding the murder of Stowe. 

Nevertheless, when several more female victims were discovered dead nearby, officials began to suspect that a serial killer may have been at work.

Although the model was killed two decades ago, her death case has again gained sensation and attention in the media platforms.

Who Was Star Stowe?

The model was born as Ellen Louise Stowe on March 19, 1956, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Because of her father’s work as an engineer, she spent her early years in various states.

Afterward, she relocated to Las Vegas and started working as a stripper in a club for adults in Los Angeles.

She chose the name “Star” because she was drawn to the sky and got a blue star tattooed below her bikini line.
