His mother, Helen, and father have supported him throughout his surfing career and pushed him to accomplish his dreams.
Unfortunately, his mum, Helen Lambert Ewing passed away when Ewing was just six years old. Ethan Ewing’s mum was also a professional surfer who inspired everyone who met her.
She contributed much to the island and its residents in the previous years. Moreover, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that surfing was always in Ethan’s genes since his late mother was a champion surfer in the 1970s and ’80s, winning Bells Beach in 1983.

“Now that he travels with me, having him with me is so nice. He is visiting all these locations that he was unable to visit when he was younger.”
