Yes, Chintapandu Naveen Kumar, aka Teenmaar Mallanna, has been arrested. He was arrested by the Police late in the night from his residence on Tuesday (March 21).
The Police team raided his office in the Medipally area and took him into custody. Immediately after the arrest, Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay visited the Mallanna’s residence and extended support to his family members.
Sanjay condemned the arrest of Mallanna and Telangana activist Vithal and spoke to the Police officials over the phone regarding the problem.
Reacting to Mallanna’s detention, BJP’s Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind called the act cowardly. The news has covered the internet at the moment.

What Are Teenmaar Mallanna Charges? Accused of Derogatory Comments Against KCR
According to reports, Teenmaar Mallanna was arrested for alleged derogatory comments against KCR. It is reported that the comment was against KCR’s son and IT Minister, KT Rama Rao and daughter MLC K Kavitha.
His arrest came after several complaints were lodged at various Police stations. A complaint was filed against Teenmaar by Telangana Jagruthi member Naveen Goud with the LB Nagar Police for defamatory statements against Kavitha and Rama Rao.
Goud’s complaint solicited immediate action be taken against him. It also called for the ban of the YouTube channel.
The case was registered on the outskirts of Hyderabad under the limits of the Rachakonda Police commissioner under Sections 505 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
