Former Terenure College teacher & rugby coach John McClean was sentenced to another four years in prison on Friday for sexual crimes against boys at the school.

“This court has to deal with the abuse of boys under the accused’s care over a protracted period,” Judge Martin Nolan said in a passing sentence on Friday.
In the case, there are 22 complainants, some of whom were abused only once, while others were abused three, four, six, seven, and up to eight times.
