The Father accused of killing a 20-year-old woman, and the boy they shared at the age of two made his first court appearance on Saturday in Pinellas County.

Two-year-old Taylen Mosley’s corpse was discovered in an alligator’s mouth at a lake 15 minutes from his apartment.

Pashun was found brutally stabbed to death, prompting the arrest of Thomas Mosley, 21, on two counts of first-degree murder.

Mosley phoned in from St. Anthony’s hospital, where he remains in Police custody while receiving treatment for injuries, on a phone call, and Pinellas Circuit Judge Patrice Moore found it challenging to converse with him at times.

Moore thought he was taking medication, but he didn’t make a formal appeal.

More information about what occurred on Wednesday, March 29, when Mosley and her son were last seen alive, came to light as Judge Moore read the complaint to Mosley aloud.

The complaint claims that around 8:42 pm, Pashun’s phone left the vicinity of her apartment and traveled to Lake Maggiore, where Taylen’s body was later discovered on Friday.

Shortly after that, Mosley appeared at his mother’s House with cuts on his arms just after nine o’clock, and he later checked himself into St. Anthony’s.

‘Pashun knew that being a single mom would be challenging, but she was determined to provide for her son,’ the family wrote on a GoFundMe page, which has received more than $8,000.

After finding Mosley to locate Taylen, who wasn’t in his possession then, Police announced that he was a “person of interest.”

Thomas had admitted himself to the hospital and had cuts all over his hands and limbs. Police confirmed that Thomas was not cooperating with authorities and refused to talk with investigators.

After being unable to contact the mother after seeing her and her boy on Wednesday at around 5.30 pm, family members requested a welfare check the following day.

Around 8.30 that night, neighbors reported hearing a loud commotion close to the apartment, but Police were not summoned.

Soon after the disturbance at the apartment, Thomas arrived at his mother’s home bleeding profusely.

After Pashun missed their daily FaceTime call, her mother phoned the apartment manager the following morning to inquire about her well-being.

When a team member arrived, they discovered Pashun had passed away. Holloway characterized the crime scene as “very violent.” When the team member arrived, the apartment entrance was locked.

According to WGXA, Taylen, and Pashun, a CVS team member, he had just relocated into the apartment. Nineteen days before his body was discovered, Taylen had just marked his second birthday.
