On March 3 at 11:49 p.m., Thomas Leon Jackson, 63, of Kennesaw, Georgia, lost his fight with metastatic adenocarcinoma and departed this world in search of Paradise.
Thomas, popularly known as Tom, was welcomed into this world by Thomas Jackson and Sue Ann Ransdell Jackson in Ashland, Kentucky, on December 20, 1959.
Before retiring, the Queer Eye contestant spent many years working for Federal Express.
Later, he took on a new career in Cartersville, Georgia, operating a dump truck for Taylor Transport because he wasn’t ready to retire completely as there was more to his life.
Furthermore, Jackson completely enjoy being a Papaw to his two grandsons who were his strength, and pride.
A highlight of his life was being featured on the Netflix show, “Queer Eye”. He thoroughly enjoyed the fame and shared his life experiences with whoever would like to listen!
Tom Jackson is survived by his kid (a daughter), Katie (R.J.) Phelps, two beloved grandsons, Watson and Chandler Phelps, sisters, Jackie Lynn Childers and Kozetta (Jeff) Stewart, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Queer Eye’s cast, Tom lost his battle with metastatic adenocarcinoma at the age of 63 on March 3, Friday, at 11: 49 p.m.
As per Cancer Treatment Centers of America, the following condition occurs when adenocarcinoma cancer cells start in one area and transfer to other parts of the body.
It is also commonly known as stage 4 adenocarcinoma.
