The arrest of Tony Mitchell was announced by the Holmes County sheriff’s office through their official Facebook page last Thursday.
The Police report was made available to AL.com on Monday following a records request.
The report revealed that Mitchell had allegedly evaded Police at 141 mph before being stopped.
The authorities further disclosed that they found over $7,000 in cash and 226 grams of marijuana in his vehicle during the stop.
The Florida State Attorney’s office for Holmes County has confirmed that Mitchell’s case has not yet been processed in their system.
Therefore, the details of his case are currently “exempt from a public records request until such records are given to the defense.”
It means that until Mitchell’s case is officially processed and filed, the public will not have access to any further information.
