With a time of 10.81 at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2015, Bowie won the women’s 100-meter heats at the World Championships in Athletics, where she later took home a bronze medal.

She then ran the 200 meters in 22.15 seconds to enter third place. She also won a gold medal for her 4100 m relay team.
