Tracey from Florida has been charged with causing the ***** of her granddaughter, who was left in a hot car for too long. This comes less than a year after her grandson drowned under her care.
The 7-month-old baby, Uriel, died in 2022 after being left in the car by Tracey Nix, who claimed she had forgotten about the child.
In the previous year, Uriel’s brother had also died while being taken care of by Nix.

Tracey Nix Grandmother Arrested For The ***** Of 7-Month-Old Uriel In 2022
According to court records, 65-year-old Tracey Nix, the grandmother of Uriel Schock, was arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter.
She left her own 7-month-old granddaughter unsupervised in a motor vehicle in November 2022, causing her ***** on November 1, 2022.
The grandmother left her granddaughter in her car outside her home in Wauchula for several hours after lunching with her friends.
She claimed to have forgotten that Uriel was in the car, which was documented in the court papers.
Uriel’s father, Drew Schock, was interviewed and expressed his grief and frustration, asking how anyone could forget a little girl.
According to the documents, Nix had been asked by Uriel’s mother, Kaila Schock, to look after the child while she went to a hair appointment.
Nix went to a friend’s house and picked up Uriel before going to the restaurant.
Security footage showed Nix putting Uriel in the back seat before driving home, parking, and going inside to talk to her dog and practice the piano.
Uriel was pronounced dead at the scene, and her ***** has ruled a homicide due to the high temperature in the car on that day.
It was not until her grandson arrived that Nix remembered Uriel was in the car. The autopsy revealed no signs of injuries.

Kaila Schock Demanded Arrest Of Her Own Mother
Kaila Schock, a resident of Florida, has called for her mother to be sent to prison after her two young children died within a year under the care of their grandmother.
One of the children died due to accidental drowning, while the other passed away from being left in a hot car.
During the conversation about Uriel’s *****, it was mentioned that the couple’s 16-month-old son, Ezra, also died while in the care of Nix in December 2021.
According to court records, Nix was babysitting Ezra when she fell asleep, and he wandered outside and drowned in a pond. Nix was not charged for this incident.
Kaila said she initially had reservations about leaving her children with her mother after the incident but eventually gave her a second chance.
However, when Kaila received the news about Uriel’s *****, she was devastated. She was six months pregnant with Uriel at Ezra’s *****.
She said she knew her mother was taking Uriel to lunch with friends and hours later received the news of Uriel’s ***** from a sheriff’s deputy.
Kaila and Drew both believe that their mother’s negligence led to the deaths of both children, and Kaila has called for her mother to be sent to prison.
Nix’s lawyer has not yet responded to the request for comment, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for May 2.
