Was Jerry Blavat Gay? Jerry Blavat, the legend known as “The Geator with the Heater,” died on January 20, 2023.

Since Blavat left this world, many questions have been raised by concerned fans and followers; he died following complications from myasthenia gravis at Methodist Hospital.

His family shares a statement confirming the death, “Jerry proudly said, ”Life is precious, and I am happy. And when I am happy, I want the world to be happy.”

Blavat first came into the limelight as a dancer on the teen-targeted television show “Bandstand” in the 1950s; he learned dancing watching his mother, aunts, and uncles dance to Artie Shaw.

His family was much of a dancer, and he mentioned in an interview that they would have danced with radio music or news.

Following his death, people are curious to learn about his personal information, and his sexuality has often been questioned, let’s discuss it further.

There is no confirmation about Blavat being gay, but there have been many rumors about it which he has not confirmed.

Blavat was in a relationship with the woman and was married once, so he might not be gay. If Blavat were gay, he would have confirmed it in public. 

Blavat was not in a relationship for more than 20 years, which made people question his sexuality. His choice was not to be in a relationship, which might not do anything with his sexuality.

Also, he was very private about his personal information, and he often ignored the question about his romantic relationship and always stayed private.

Blavat was married to Patricia Blavat, but the couple separated in 1976. Since then, he has not been married or even engaged.

But he was in a relationship with Rosalie (Keely) Stahl for the long term, but the couple did not get married.

Blavat then did not share about his romantic relationship in public. Since he separated from Stahl never had any serious relationship.

So, Blavat did not have any partner before his death; he was single for a long time.

Blavat was birth to a Jewish Father and an Italian mother; he belonged to mixed ethnicity.

He did not share much about his parents in public; he wanted to keep his personal life away from the eyes of the media.

Blavat was once married, and he had four daughters, Kathi Furia, Geraldine Blavat, Stacy Braglia, and Deserie Downey. Most of them are married and has their own child.

Also, he had five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and he shared great relationships with everyone.

Everyone was present when he had his last breath, although many of his family were at his funeral.

Jerry Blavat Net Worth Before Death

According to the Source, an American disc jockey who died on January 20, 2023, had a $1.5 million net worth before death.

He was still regularly heard on his own Geator Gold Radio network when he passed away.

Blavat was also involved in a Saturday night show on WXPN-FM (88.5), The Geator’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Rhythm & Blues Express, during the weekend.

But in the past few days before his death, he had painful shoulder injuries, due to which he canceled appearances at his Margate, N.J., club and Memories.
