Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan seemed to have outdone himself by successfully recreating the first atomic explosion without CGI.

One of the most difficult projects in his career, according to Christopher Nolan, was "Oppenheimer."

Oppenheimer will be the first Nolan movie not to be distributed by Warner Bros since 2000's Memento.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused three delays in releasing his previous movie, Tenet from 2020, which was finally seen in theaters in August of that same year.

Despite the movie's popularity at the box office, especially abroad, it didn't meet projections for a pre-pandemic audience.

Nolan has made a name for himself as a precise and skilled director who understands what spectators want, making the events of his film and Oppenheimer is hardly an exception.

The eagerly awaited film stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist behind the original nuclear weapons design during World War II.

After the Dark Knight trilogy, Dunkirk, and Inception, this is Murphy's fifth picture with Nolan. However, this is the first time he plays the filmmaker's lead character.

Apart from Murphy, the movie stars big names like  Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, and many more.

Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer has its theatrical debut in the U.S. on July 21, 2023.
