Emily Blunt Talked About Working With Tom Cruise On "Edge Of Tomorrow" And His NSFW response when she began crying on set.

In 2014's sci-fi action movie "Edge of Tomorrow," Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt played more than just action heroes.

During a conversation with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes on the "Smartless" podcast, Blunt, 39, recalled some of her challenges working with Cruise on the film.

Blunt, who is better known for rom-com parts, ventured into a different genre of movies with the time-traveling and alien invasion sci-fi movie.

He just gazed at me and said, "I know, I know," continued Emily. I suddenly started crying and said, "

"Tom, I'm not sure how I'm going to get through this shoot." I confessed, "I feel a little anxious about the entire shoot."

He just stared at me for a long time, not knowing what to do, and he goes, "Come on, stop being such a p@#%y, OK?" I did laugh, and then we got through it," she said with another laugh.

There were no harsh feelings toward the "Top Gun" star, as Emily readily admitted, "He is so brilliant in it."
