Robbie Bachman

(February 18, 1953 – January 12, 2023)

Bachman-Turner Overdrive's drummer and co-founding member Robbie Bachman passed away at 69.

Randy Bachman, the rocker's brother and former bandmate confirmed the musician's passing.

Canadian musician Robbie Bachman performs with the group Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO).

Randy Bachman, another BTO member, is his younger brother.

Since BTO was founded in 1973, Bachman has played the drums for the group.

Additionally, he has made solo albums and performed with various bands.

The super blockbuster songs by BTO, including "Let It Ride," "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet," "Takin' Care of Business," "Hey You," and "Roll on Down the Highway," are well known.

Due to disagreements over the business with Randy and the other members, Robbie left BTO in early 1980 and did not rejoin them when they came back together in 1983.

However, he returned in 1988 and stayed with the group until 2005.
