Sri Lanka international cricket player Danushka Gunathilaka was arrested on Saturday night in Sydney, Australia.
He is a professional Sri Lanka cricket player; he played for Sri Lanka national under-19 cricket team at the 2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Gunathilaka is left-handed, he started his cricket career at an early age, but he began his International career on November 1, 2015.

Gunathilaka was arrested from the hotel late on Saturday night; he was arrested for the rape case.
Danushka has been charged with four counts of sexual intercourse without consent against a 29-year-old woman.
The woman complained about a case and mentioned that they met online in the city; he was in Sydney for his game.
The arrest occurred after the game; he was with his team in the hotel. Everyone was shocked to hear the information about his arrest.
