A person on Facebook paid tribute by writing, “My dearest friend sending you and the family our deepest sympathy and most sincere condolences during this sad time. Streaky will be remembered as an amazing man. Much love and strength.”

Heath Steak Illness Details
Former cricketer Heath Steak was dealing with an illness. It has been reported that Steak was diagnosed with liver cancer. Meanwhile, he was undergoing treatment under one of the most respected oncologists in South Africa.
His family also gave updates regarding Steak’s health condition to his fans and followers. Apart from liver cancer, he was also diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.
For your information, Stage 4 colon cancer means the cancer has spread to other parts of the body, like the liver or lungs. Further, it’s also called advanced bowel cancer. Stage 4 is divided into three stages – 4A, 4B and 4C.

His former colleague Henry Olonga also shared the news of Steak’s death on social media but later offered an apology for his post.
Unfortunately, Steak’s health condition worsened in his last days, and he took his last breath on September 3, 2023, at the age of 49.
