After being found guilty in 2010 by a federal court in New York on attempted ****** and other felony charges, Dr. Aadia Siddiqui, a Pakistani national, is currently serving an 86-year sentence in the United States.

She was listed on the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation’s terrorist watch list after Khalid Sheikh Mohammad accused her of having ties to al-Qaeda.

At that moment, Siddiqui and her three children allegedly became missing. She was detained and questioned after resurfacing in Afghanistan.

Siddiqui purportedly informed the FBI she had fled while in captivity but afterward recanted her story and claimed she had been kidnapped and imprisoned.

Supporters assert that she was detained as a ghost prisoner at Bagram Air Force Base; the US government disputes this claim.

She allegedly fired at visiting U.S. FBI and Army troops on her second day in jail using an M4 rifle that one of the interrogators had set on the floor by his feet. A warrant officer opened fire, striking her in the torso.

She was treated at a hospital and transported to the US. Aafia was indicted on charges of assault and attempted ****** on a US soldier in the Ghazni police station in September 2008.

She vehemently rejected the claims but was charged with a crime, found guilty, and given an 86-year jail sentence in 2010.

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui ***** News: Is She Still Alive?

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui is alive and currently undergoing therapy at a federal medical prison in Texas, where women convicts have access to specific medical and mental health facilities.

Her sister, Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui, was given a U.S. visa on May 8 and has finally seen Dr. Aafia Siddiqui in prison, according to information provided to the Islamabad High Court.

Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal Dogar notified the court of this development during a hearing about Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s release.

The court has ordered the government to set up a private psychiatric evaluation for Dr. Aafia Siddiqui and give her attorney, Clive Smith, access to all pertinent case documents and information.

Dr. Aaifa and her sister met at the Federal Medical Center, Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas. The glass wall kept the two sisters apart for the 2.5-hour meeting. Dr. Aafia Siddiqui told her sister how the U.S. government treated her.

Dr. Fauzia gave her information about Dr. Aafia’s kids, but the U.S. government forbade her from showing her any of their photos.

At the time of Dr. Aafia’s incarceration, her son was a baby; now an adult, her daughter has graduated from medical school.

Dr. Aafia is anticipated to meet with Dr. Fauzia, Senator Mushtaq, and Dr. Aafia’s American attorney, Clive Smith, once more today to explore potential next steps toward Dr. Aafia’s release.
