The third African-American to hold the WWE Championship, he ultimately won the championship twice (after The Rock and Kofi Kingston).

This afternoon, Pearce released a statement announcing that Lashley’s termination had been overturned and that they would soon meet to discuss the next steps. Bobby Lashley is still employed, despite what I said last night, Pearce said.

Since Seth Rollins defeated Bobby Lashley for the WWE United States Championship in October, Bobby Lashley has struggled lately.

Brock Lesnar attacked Lashley, who was defeated by Lesnar at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, causing that defeat.
