Megyn Kelly is not going anywhere. She ended her thirteen years of journey with Fox News in January 2017.
The Illinois-born host worked with Fox News between 2004 to 2017 as a talk show host. There seems to have been some misunderstanding.
Kelly has been making headlines because she spoke about Tucker Carlson’s exit from the network, not because of her departure from the network. While saying the cable news made a terrible mistake, Megyn assumed that Tucker would launch a podcast or digital show and crushes it.
Furthermore, the well-accomplished television personality hosted a famous 9 pm show on the network. Instead of having her contract renewed, she moved to NBC. She hosted a talk show on weekday mornings and a short-lived Sunday night program at the cable news.
Kelly has suffered from poor viewership and controversy, including her remark regarding blackface on a show in October 2018. The prominent journalist exited from NBC in January 2019 with a reported $69 million payout.

Reason Megyn Kelly Left Fox News
During her appearance on The Ellen Show in September 2017, Megyn Kelly revealed her reason for leaving Fox News.
The well-known television personality said she left the popular cable news because of Donald Trump and the snake pit that is primetime news.
While elaborating that she had never been into politics before joining the network’s primetime slot, Kelly said the former U.S. president has a way of clarifying one’s life choices.
The Illinois native explained that she wondered if the primetime slot was where she wanted to be. “Universe came and shone a light,” said the host adding, “It became clear to me what I wanted to do.”
The former Fox News official added when she got to the network’s primetime; Bill O’Reilly told her it was a snake pit. “That’s how I felt, and I did not want to be in the snake pit; all I wanted to do was report the news,” added the host.
Kelly said Donald Trump’s controversial tweet about her was just a confirmation and clarification that she didn’t want to live in the toxicity of the cable news environment.
Besides her television career, Kelly is also an author. In February 2016, she inked a deal worth over $10 million with HarperCollins to write an autobiography. On 15 November 2016, her book titled Settle for More was published.
