Shemar Moore is not leaving the CBS drama SWAT. Fans of the actor and his character in the drama can rest assured, as no official announcement has occurred.
As stated above, Moore starred in the series as Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, a dedicated and courageous leader of an elite SWAT team on the action-packed CBS series.
The actor actively updates all the news about his professional life on social media. Although the Oakland native’s commitment to SWAT remains, many of her fans are concerned. It is unclear how and why Moore’s departure from the action-packed drama is trending.
But, it seems to have arisen from the previous uncertainty of the show’s new season. In May 2023, the CBS drama was canceled, which created a considerable buzz. However, it was renewed for season 7 shortly after that.
S.W.A.T season 7 will reportedly be released sometime in the 2023-2024 television season. Also, Moore shared exciting and historic news of SWAT season 6 recently.
The S.W.A.T. star revealed the show, which has been renewed for a seventh and final season, earned a nomination for an Emmy for its stunt work.

Is Shemar Moore Joining Criminal Minds?
Shemar Moore left Criminal Minds in 2016 after 11th seasons, saying he wanted to try new things and focus on his personal life.
Though he returned for a few guest appearances in seasons 12 and 13, he was not part of the series finale, which took place in 2020.
However, according to reports, the performer expressed his will to return for the revival series Criminal Minds: Evolution in late 2022.
