A 19-year-old rugby player for the Bridgwater Women’s team who passed away in a car accident on November 8 has received tributes.

Bethany Branson, a player for the Bridgwater and Albion Rugby Football Club, was killed in a four-car collision in Bridgwater at the intersection of Monmouth Street, St. John Street, and Eastover on the A38 Broadway.

Two individuals were detained after the event, and one guy has now been charged, according to an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson.

Who Is Bethany Branson?

Rugby player Bethany Branson represented the Bridgwater & Albion Women’s Rugby team. She regrettably passed away when she was 19 years old.

She was born in the year 20. Sadly, her date of birth is not yet revealed on the internet.

Likewise, there is no other information about her personal life, as she was very secretive regarding her details.

However, we know that she was beautiful, as everyone who knew her loved her. She received numerous tributes when her loved ones learned the harsh truth about her death.

Her club paid attention to Beth by sending her family and friends a poignant statement in which they claimed she was “taken way too early” and expressed their sorrow.

The player-coach for the women’s team, Sophie Phillips, added: “Beth was a fantastic player and a terrific friend to everyone at the club.

Her upbeat demeanor spread to everyone, and she could brighten any space. As a group, let me express my condolences to Beth’s family and friends.”

Bethany’s family says they appreciate the public’s support and now ask for privacy as they grieve her passing. A properly trained officer is helping the family at this trying time.

Rugby Player Died In Bridgwater Crash; Luke Hawkes is Arrested With Death Cause

Following his admission of being responsible for the famous Bridgwater women’s rugby player’s death in a collision last month, the driver, Luke Hawkes, now faces jail time.

When he appeared before Taunton Crown Court, Luke Hawkes, 29, of Wadham Close, Bridgwater, entered a plea of guilty to killing Bethany Branson while driving recklessly.

He further acknowledged that he did not produce a specimen of breath following the collision on November 9 at around 9.50 pm in Bridgwater at an A38 intersection. He was kept in detention and will be sentenced in the coming months.

When a four-vehicle incident occurred, Bethany, a 19-year-old Bridgwater and Albion RFC player, was in a white Citroen car with a friend.

She died on the spot. After the event, a second man was detained. However, he has since been released while the case is being looked into.
