O’Neill’s father was a veterinary surgeon, and the family follows the Roman Catholic faith. However, Panti Bliss considers herself an atheist.

Bliss hosted the annual Alternate Miss Ireland pageant from 1996 to 2012 and regularly hosted Dublin Price celebrations.
