The couple welcomed their bundle of joy on 11 August 2022. The couple, especially Kyle, was beyond excited to welcome his baby boy, Otto Dalton.
By the end of this year, Kyle and Tegan’s son will be 2 years old.
The radio personality walked out of the live radio segment when his child was born.
During the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Tegan’s husband announced the exciting news that she was in labor.
Kyle said on air, “I am broadcasting from home for a reason, which seems to have raised its head now. I fear I might need to leave the show to go to the hospital. It is time.”
As Kyle got up to leave his house and meet Tegan at the hospital for the birth of their child, cheers broke out in the air.
“I’m really sorry, guys. I really feel unprepared,” he said. “I have to leave! I feel like I’m abandoning you.”
The show’s co-host, Jackie O, assured Tegan’s spouse, saying there was no problem with him leaving and yelled out to the rest of the radio studio, “Kyle is having a baby.”

Sandilands currently serves as the weekday morning radio program co-host – The Kyle and Jakie O show on Sydney-based radio station KIIS 106.5.
Sandilands served as an Australian Idol judge from 2005 to 2009 and again in 2023.
Sandilands took over as Big Brother’s host in 2008 along with Jackie O. He was appointed judge for Australia’s Got Talent and The X Factor in 2010.
The 52-year-old is also known for his harsh and contentious on-air comments.
