Who Was Anthony Thorpe?
Anthony Thorpe was a two-year-old son of Jeffery L. Thrope and Aaliyah Scales. Jeffery and Aaliyah are not married but are in a relationship.
As mentioned above, the young boy died on 6 November 2021 following a fatal ******** on 1 November. After the young boy’s *****, police discovered that Jeffery’s negligence resulted in the tragic ***** of his son.
Youth Services Detective John Grubbs’ leading investigation into the incident disclosed that Anthony Thorpe’s dad put a pistol on a bed after reaching home on the night of 1 November 2021.
It has been revealed that the young victim’s mother was also sitting on the bed at the time. While his father was in the shower, the little boy picked up the gun and shot himself in the head.
The panicked parents rushed their son to a local hospital. The child’s mother stayed at the hospital, but his dad (Jeffery) fled the area.

Anthony Thorpe Father Jeffery L. Thorpe Charged With Reckless Homicide
Jeffery L. Thorpe was arrested on Wednesday, 3 May 2023.
The victim’s father has been charged with felony child neglect, reckless homicide, aggravated assault, evading arrest, and trespassing.
Anthony’s father has been evading his arrest for over a year. Finally, after a long hunt, the East Precinct’s Community Field intelligence team captured him in the East Nashville area.
The authorities found him as a passenger in a vehicle. The vehicle reportedly refused to stop for them. But the department monitored the car with a helicopter until Mr. Thorpe got out and ran.
Jeffery L. Thorpe was taken into custody in the Jones Circle area following a short chase. The 25-year-old is facing an aggravated assault in which his girlfriend (Anthony Thorpe’s mother) is the victim.
Jeffery Thorne is imprisoned in the Downtown Detention Center as of this writing.
Anthony died years ago; he will not get his life back now. But Justice is the last thing he must get. Hopefully, Anthony Thorpe is at peace wherever he is.
