People are curious to know more about Jai Singh Wife as his wife, Sukhjeet Uppal, was a housewife murdered in her own House.
Jai Singh Puni, Before his trial on January 22, a man accused of killing his wife passed away in jail in a Birmingham hospital.
He was scheduled to plea on Monday in the stabbing death of Sukhjeet Uppal, discovered at their Wolverhampton home on Tangmere Road.
Mr. Puni perished due to brain damage, multiple organ failure, and cardiac arrest brought on by asphyxia, according to the results of an inquiry that was opened on Thursday at Birmingham Coroner’s Court.
The results of a thorough inquest are expected in February 2023, and the Prison and Probation Ombudsman also acknowledged that it was looking into the man’s demise. Since his detention in September, Mr. Puni has been in Police captivity.
Before his death in custody, Jai Singh, who was on trial for allegedly killing his wife, was “hearing voices and diagnosed as schizophrenic,” the inquest earlier heard.
Sadly, not much about Jai Singh was found, and he always lived away from the spotlight. Likewise, the Police have not revealed anything regarding the case as the case is still sensitive at the time of writing this article.

Who Was Jai Singh Wife Sukhjeet Uppal?
Jai Singh’s wife, Sukhjeet Uppal, was repeatedly stabbed in their House, leading to Singh’s arrest. He was taken into custody after Ms. Uppal was discovered in their shared residence with multiple stab wounds.
A beloved mother and “one of the most caring and loving people you could ever encounter,” Ms. Uppal was remembered by her family as such.
The statements claim that she never harbored resentments and that she adored everyone. She was taken away from her siblings, mother, and children.

Jai Singh: Husband Charged With Murder
March 8 is the last day of an inquest into the death of a murder suspect who passed away while in Police detention. A jury has been summoned for the eight-day investigation into the death of Jai Singh Puni, who was accused of killing his 40-year-old wife, Sukhjeet Uppal.
On January 27, 2022, the 50-year-old was discovered in his cell with something covering his head; he passed away at City Hospital shortly after midnight the following day. Singh had numerous organ failures, brain damage, and a cardiac arrest brought on by asphyxia, according to a post-mortem.
After being accused of killing his wife, Sukhjeet Uppal, at their Tangmere Road, Wolverhampton, residence on September 19, 2021, Sunday, Singh was in prison. She passed away there and then.
On the first day, area coroner Emma Brown gave the jurors a summary of the case, stating that there were “no concerns about Singh’s physical or mental health” at his initial admission to prison.
However, she claimed that his actions “changed drastically” and that his family had expressed their worries to the prison. Paramjit Khaira, Singh’s sister, contacted the jail 85 times to voice her concerns about her brother’s mental health.
The inquiry is being held at Birmingham and Solihull Coroner’s Court in Steelhouse Lane, Birmingham.
