According to a Deadline report from July 2022, Season 3 of Law & Order: Organized Crime would feature the addition of Brent and Rick.

However, neither was expected to stay on the show past that point. Brent’s decision to leave is more unexpected than Rick’s decision to stay.

Brent hasn’t revealed to his followers why he left Law & Order since his departure, but before the episode, he tweeted images and videos advertising it.

We’re sorry to see Whelan depart, regardless of whether it was due to a scheduling conflict, a legal disagreement, or another factor.

The relationship between the two men will probably be discussed in the upcoming episodes. Sadly, Antonello won’t be a part of it.

Whelan has excellent potential as a character, especially since he frequently resembles a younger Stabler, so he will be missed going further.

Bell also rejects the promotion, indicating that the task force won’t disband any time soon. As a result, fans thought Antonello wouldn’t be leaving the show. However, that is not the case.

Who Else Will Be Leaving Law And Order?

Law & Order: Organized Crime, an NBC Police procedural series, will no longer have Sean Jablonski as the showrunner.

Jablonski is now the fourth showrunner to depart the Law & Order spinoff in the previous 12 months.

The final three episodes of Season 3 will be directed by Law & Order: SVU showrunner David Graziano.

Jablonski’s resignation is reportedly linked to creative disagreements. Bryan Goluboff was succeeded as showrunner by Jablonski in September 2022.

Barry O’Brien, the showrunner in interim status beginning in late February 2022, had been replaced by Goluboff.

After Ilene Chaiken, the previous showrunner, left, O’Brien took over to finish the season.
