According to sources, the 22-year-old rapper MoneySign Suede passed away just before he was scheduled to be freed from prison.
Authorities attempted to revive him but were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The musician’s family posted on Instagram: “We appreciate the condolences; our family has not set up a gofundme, don’t fall for any scams, thank you!”
After releasing his debut album in March 2022, the 22-year-old has recently gained popularity. He released Parkside Baby and Parkside Santa in the same year.
Why Did Moneysign Suede Go to Jail?
MoneySign Suede was incarcerated after receiving a 32-month prison term in Riverside County for gun-related offenses.
Suede was also charged with possessing a firearm in Los Angeles County, for which he anticipated a sentence of about two years.
In December last year, Suede turned himself in to the authorities and was lodged in the Soledad State Prison.
The month after, he also uploaded a video to YouTube detailing his final day before imprisonment. He was arrested numerous times and had many run-ins with the law before his passing.
In June 2022, while he was performing at a warehouse Party in Boyle Heights, a shooting left three people dead and four more hurt.
Two of the deceased, Randy Tyson and Daniel Dunbar, who were 25 and 27, respectively, were recognized, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office reported at the time.
The identity of the third victim was kept a secret. Suede released an Instagram post after the catastrophe, expressing sorrow for those who had died.
“I just wanted to quickly post here to express my sympathy for what occurred yesterday during this paid show. I offer prayers for everyone who was hurt or lost their life yesterday night.”

According to TMZ, the rapper MoneySign Suede was discovered dead in prison from what appears to be a stabbing.
The young rapper from Los Angeles had been incarcerated at the Soledad, California, Correctional Training Facility.
According to prison officials who spoke to the media, MoneySign Suede’s death is considered a possible homicide. The suspect, however, is unknown as of now.
After a headcount on Tuesday night at about 9:55 pm, it was established that the rapper was absent.
According to the reports, CPR was purportedly attempted on the rapper before he was later discovered in another area of the institution.

MoneySign Suede Released His Debut Album In 2022
MoneySign Suede was raised in South Central Los Angeles after being born in Montebello.
When he moved to Huntington Park at ten, he was still a soccer addict but became interested in skateboarding and boxing.
At age 16, he went to his first rap concert, MadeinTYO, and soon after, he began to rap. Then he posted his first song online, earning about 30,000 streams.
A second song, Poppin’, was released after it, and, according to AllMusic, it also became prevalent.
Suede added new songs, including Back to the Bag, Came a Long Way, I’m Back, Veteran, and others. In March 2022, he published his debut EP under his own name.
Soon after, he started working with musicians, including Young Demon, Cypress Moreno, Lil Weirdo, and others.
In September 2022, he released his debut album, Parkside Baby, and the mixtape Parkside Santa.
