Wynter Smith Parents: Mother Symari Cole And Father Almount “AJ” Smith

The little two-year-old girl Wynter Smith was born to mother Symari Cole and father known as Almount “Aj” Smith.

Rashid Trice, who has been charged with Wynter’s kidnapping, is not the child’s father, even though it has been mentioned in some web portals.

However, Trice reportedly had a previous relationship with Wynter’s mother, Symari.

He is accused of abducting Wynter on Sunday, July 2, after allegedly stabbing her 22-year-old mother at a residence in the 3000 block of Beau Jarden Drive in Lansing.

As Michigan authorities continued searching for the missing toddler, her father, Almount “AJ” Smith, shared his thoughts a few days ago.

In an interview with CBS News Detroit, he described Wynter as a kind, trusting, and expressive child.

Smith learned about his daughter’s disappearance through a phone call from his wife shortly after Wynter was taken.

AJ, attending a school in Tennessee, hurried back to Michigan after the call. Symari has fortunately received medical attention and has been discharged safely.

AJ Smith shared that she is doing fine, able to talk and walk, but still understandably worried.

Lansing police responded to the first 911 call on Sunday night, discovering Wynter’s mother with multiple stab wounds.

In the days following the incident, Rashad Trice, the suspect, did not provide any information about Wynter’s whereabouts, according to the police.
