Sonya Deville’s lesbian news recently became public after the engagement news came out on social media, making the WWE fans grab their heads with both hands.
Sonya Deville, alias Daria Rae Berenato is a professional wrestler and trained mixed martial artist from America.
The wrestler appeared on the SmackDown brand alongside Adam Pearce. In the past, the fighter has also served as an authority figure.
Deville first rose to prominence when she competed in WWE Tough Enough in 2015, where she placed eleventh. The fighter received a deal with WWE and then got transmitted to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Deville then performed in NXT, then WWE’s development league, before being promoted to the main roster. The wrestler made a comeback in January 2021.In a non-wrestling capacity as an on-screen authority figure.
Sonya Deville is trending on the media after she got arrested for gun possession. The WWE star gave them a license for the weapon, but it was not allowed in New Jersey.
Yes, Sonya Deville Is A Lesbian
Sonya Deville’s lesbian relationship with her partner Tonni Cassano got publicly known when the WWE star announced their engagement.
The WWE universe was shocked and confused when they learned about Sonya Deville’s lesbian news.
Regarding LGBTQ+ issues, the WWE has a distinctly mixed track record; aside from its inconsistent track record with gay stories, the organization has collaborated with the Saudi Arabian government, where LGBTQ+ identities are illegal.
An LGBTQ+ plot was proposed to the organization four years ago by Sonya and her then-tag team partner Amanda “Mandy Rose” Saccomanno, but it doesn’t seem to have materialized.
After years of questioning who the fighter was and where she belonged, Berenato thinks it’s fantastic to be engaged as a lesbian wrestler.
Sonya Deville, a lesbian, is the first female wrestler to discuss her identity in the WWE openly. She talked about coming out as a lesbian while competing in Tough Enough.
The female wrestler entered the first women’s Royal Rumble match on January 28, 2018, at position 10.
She defeated Torrie Wilson and lasted 6:41 until being defeated by Michelle McCool. On February 25 at Elimination Chamber, Berenato also participated in the first women’s Elimination Chamber match.
The MMA fighter competed in her debut WrestleMania at the Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34.

Sonya Deville’s Relationship With Her Partner Toni Cassano
According to a People report, the mixed martial artist proposed to her partner Toni Cassano on February 15, 2023.
In typical sapphic style, Cassano answered with a ring of her own. The WWE star proposed to Toni as she grabbed her ring from her purse, which had been there for over four months.
Berenato claims that the two met at a WWE event, which Cassano consented to attend in exchange for a dinner date. However, the pair decided to go to a random bar, staying up until five in the morning and eating pizza because the concert was too long to go to an authentic restaurant.
The first openly homosexual female wrestler in WWE history, Sonya has worked for the organization for almost eight years.
In 2017, she made her Sonya Deville persona debut. But don’t expect Berenato to behave well on television because she’s a family woman now.
Deville has been a villain figure virtually since her debut and shows no indications of changing her ways.
