Yoshi Barrigas seems to be dealing with his health for the past few years, and as of 2024, Barrigas’ condition may have got worse.
In a podcast named What’s Your Limp? Barrigas opened up about his condition, which shocked the world. In the podcast, the actor said that he had an MRI that showed he had three herniated discs in his upper spine and neck.
Barrigas talked about it in 2022 and said that he is in pain every single day of his life. Likewise, Barrigas said what the pain feels like saying, “Imagine someone grabbing both of your trapezoids and just squeezing it as tightly as they could, and that’s basically what that pain feels like.”
Likewise, Yoshi went on to say that it has been difficult recently and due to that, many people may have thought that Barrigas left the Chosen due to his health condition.
Why Yoshi Barrigas Leave The Chosen?
Yoshi Barrigas left the Chosen for an undisclosed reason, but fans are assuming that it may be linked to his health issues.
As stated earlier, Yoshi has three herniated discs in his upper spine and neck which generates unimaginable pain, and he has been facing them for the past few years.
Not to mention a herniated disc is a piece of the disc nucleus that is pushed out of the annulus into the spinal canal via a tear or crack in the annulus. Meanwhile, discs that become herniated usually are in an early stage of deterioration.
Furthermore, Yoshi made the announcement of his departure from the show by sharing a statement on May 5, 2023.
