Lorna England Murder: Cameron Davis Arrested And Charged For The Death
Cameron Davis, 30, is accused of stabbing Lorna England to death. He was ordered to appear before Exeter Crown Court on February 21, 2023.
After making an appearance in court today and being accused of killing a 74-year-old grandmother, a man was remanded in prison.
The defendant, a bearded man from Exmouth, Devon, spoke only to confirm his address and date of birth during the short hearing.
He was placed back in prison and told to show up in front of Exeter Crown Court on February 21.
Furthermore, around 4 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to the park in response to reports of an assault. A police appeal led to Davis’ arrest in Exeter a few hours later.
The murder investigation is still ongoing, according to Devon and Cornwall Police, who stated this at a news conference on Sunday.
According to Devon and Cornwall Police, “no one else is currently wanted in connection with this offense.”
During the hearing today, magistrates ordered Davis to remain in detention until his 10 a.m. appearance tomorrow at Exeter Crown Court.
