Idah was born and raised in Cork, Ireland, where he attended Douglas Community School.
Reports have stated that Idah began playing soccer at age 6 with local youth club College Corinthians in 2007.
Also, he played for College Corinthians for 10 years, moving up through the youth levels before joining the Norwich City Youth Academy in 2017 at age 16.
