In the Men’s College World Series championship game, Louisiana State University Tigers catcher Alex Milazzo suffered an injury.
Alex Milazzo was attempting to finish a run at the time of the incident at the top of the fourth. The LSU catcher was moved from first to third by a single to the right field by Cade Beloso.
Milazzo kept moving toward home plate while the throw was delayed. To get to the plate, he had to jump over BT Riopelle, the University of Florida’s catcher, who failed to make the tag.
