In 2018, he also competed in the Moto X Quarterpipe High Air and earned gold while competing in Moto X Best Whip at X Games Minneapolis; Hodges received bronze.

Axell Hodges’ death news has left everyone shocked, but there is no fact about it as the motocross rider is still alive and is doing well in his life.
The news of his demise came into the media after a recent crash happened at the freestyle motocross track in Ramona. Initially, some sources mentioned that Axell was the rider who crashed his motorcycle while performing a jump on the park ramps.
But it is not true as recently, news has been updated saying that the crash victim was another rider named Pat Casey.
After the deadly crash, first responders performed life-saving measures on the victim but couldn’t save him. So, he was pronounced dead at 3:42 pm.

Is Motocross Competitor Axell Hodges Alive or Dead?
As mentioned earlier, Motocross competition Axell Hodges is still alive and is kicking. Meanwhile, the rumors have left everyone confused, and it has already been clear that the person who died in a recent crash was Pat Casey.
Authorities responded to calls of an accident around 2:45 pm just off Sutherland Dam Road and State Route 78 near the Ramona area of San Diego County. Cal Fire Captain Brent Pascua received the call, and they immediately started coaching the caller on steps to provide CPR to the injured victim aged 29.
When authorities arrived on the accident scene, they saw a man requiring life-saving assistance, but unfortunately, Casey was pronounced dead at the scene.
It has been reported that the deadly crash happened after the man tried to perform jump off a ramp on his motorbike. When the victim was identified as Casey, it shocked the world. During that time, he was riding a green motocross bike.

Axell Hodges was born on August 20, 1996, making his age 27 years as of 2024. He is a native of Encinitas, California.
According to a report, Hodges grew up watching his dad and two older brothers racing dirt bikes. So, it can be said that Axell was inspired by them to get involved in this field.
During his early days, Hodges was a great fan of motocross champ Jeremy McGrath. Furthermore, Hodges started riding at age eight, and his career flourished when he won Loretta Lynn’s national amateur race in 2012.
