His parents, Warren W. II and Linda J. Raia, and his grandmother, Christine Raia, mourn his and their daughter-in-law’s untimely departure.
Blase was also a beloved sibling to two sisters, Yetta Smith and Jolene Betar, and two brothers, Warren Raia III and Brad Miller.
Blase Raia’s journey included graduation from Altoona High School and a career as a machinist gang leader at Norfolk Southern.
Beyond his professional endeavors, he co-founded the Corona Lockdown Practice Tree League alongside his friend, Bob Welsch.
To honor Blase’s life, people are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 2-4 pm at the Salvation Army Church located at 1813 6th Ave., Altoona.
A memorial service, presided over by Pastor Larry Fumler, will follow at 4 pm. The cremation service is entrusted to Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.

Blase Raia Shot Himself After Killing His Wife
