24. Nam Joo-hyuk

Nam Joo Hyuk is a model turned actor who was born on 22nd February 1984 in Busan, South Korea.

He played basketball in his school, but his basketball career came to an end due to injury.

His first appearance in the movie “Who Are You: School 2015” garnered him a lot of attention, leading him to win Best New Actor.

He has also played a supporting role in various popular dramas such as ” Cheese in the Trap” and “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Ryeo.”

Finally, in 2017 he appeared as a lead in “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo,” opposite of Lee Sung-Kyung.

He has also appeared in several television series such as “The Bride of HabaeK,” “The School Nurse Files,” and “Start-Up.”

23. Kim Soo-hyun

Born on 16th February 1988, he is one of the highest-paid actors in South Korea.

About his television debut, he starred in the family sitcom “Kimchi Cheese Smile” but rose to fame in 2011 appearing in the musical drama “Dream High.”

The drama received a strong rating was well-appreciated internationally, earning numerous international accolades.

Furthermore, he appeared in the famous historical drama “Moon Embracing the Sun,” which earned him Best Actors Award at the 48th Baeksang Art Awards.

He made his big-screen debut with the movie “The Thieves,” which earned him various national awards.

22. Park Bo-gum

South Korean singer and actor Park Bo-gum was born on 16th June 1993 in Mok-dong, Seoul, South Korea.

He gained popularity with the 2015 Hello Monster, where he appeared as a psychopathic lawyer.

He gave his best performance on dramas such as ” Reply 1998″, “Love in the Moonlight,” “Encounter,” and “Record of Youth.”

He is currently serving mandatory military service and will be discharged in April 2022.

Park Bo-gum was the first-ever actor to top the Forbes list of Korea Power Celebrity.

21. Kim Myung-soo

Kim Myung-soo is popularly known by his stage name L.

He was born on 13th March 1992 and is well-known as a main vocalist of the K-pop band Infinite.

At the beginning of his acting career, he did several cameos and supporting roles in movies, including Master’s Sun, where he appeared as a younger version of the male lead.

He then starred in dramas such as “The Emperor: Owner of the Mask” and “Ms. Hammurabi.”

20. Ahn Hyo-seop

Ahn Hyo-seop is a singer and actor who was born on 17th April 1995.

19. Song Kang

After that, he appeared in dramas such as “Entourage,” “Are You, Human,” “Watcher,” and “Weather is Fine.”

16. Park Hyung-sik

Born on 16th November 1991, Park Hyung-sik is an actor, dancer, and singer.

He is also one of the members of the K-pop group ZE:A.

13. Song Joong-ki

Born on September 19, 1985, he is one of the famous and highest-paid South Korean actors.

He is best known for his role in ” Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and as the cast of “Running Man” (2010-2011).

In 2016 he starred in “Descendants of the Sun” with Song Hye-kyo. It gained one of the highest viewership ratings leading him to win the Daesang Award (Grand Prize Award).

7. Im Si-wan

Born on December 1, 1988, he is a South Korean singer and actor. He is as well a member of ZE: A K-pop band.

In terms of his acting career, he first was cast on “Moon Embracing the Sun” in 2012, where he played the younger version of Heom Yeom.

He rose to prominence in 2013 when he was featured in the courtroom drama “The Attorney.” He was nominated for Best New Actor.

However, he rose to fame with his next lead role in 2010, “Baker Kim Tak Goo.”

2. Kim Min-jae

Kim Min-jae is a South Korean rapper and actor who was born on November 1, 1996.

He was cast on a drama, “Preservance Goo Her-ra,” in 2015.

“Tempted,” Flower Crew: Josean Mariage Agency, and “Do You Like Brahms?” are some of his famous dramas. He won Excellence Award from Do You Like Brahms?

Interesting Fact: He was a contestant in a popular rap competition named “Show Me the Money 4” in 2015.

1. Lee Jong-suk

Lee Jong-suk is a South Korean actor and model widely regarded as one of the most prominent Hallyu stars in the industry.

He was born on September 14, 1989, and began his modeling career at 15 as the youngest Korean runway model.

In 2012, he starred in “School 2013,” which won him his first acting award for the Best New Actor.

Following the success, he then appeared on popular drama series such as “I Can Hear Your Voice,” “Doctor Strange,” “Pinocchio,” “W,” “While You Were Sleeping,” and “Romance Is a Bonus Book.”

Right after the military service, he is set to appear in an upcoming drama, “Big Mouth,” opposite Lim Yoon-ah.
