Melnevia Whaley got into a car accident that took her life away. She was one of two people killed along I-75 near Caniff early Sunday morning.
Whaley was in an accident and then got out to check her car and was hit and killed by a driver who lost control. Michigan State Police reported that Melnevia was pulled over on the side of the road when an EMS worker stopped to check on her.
That first responder, identified by Superior Ambulance as Matthew Madigan, was killed alongside Melnevia when a passing driver lost control and collided with them.
Melnevia was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other crash victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The accident case is still under investigation, and the Police department will surely give more details soon.

Melnevia Whaley, famous as Mel, was close to everyone, and her work was praised by many. She was working at Primitiv Group.
Apart from that, Whaley gained broad experience by working in other companies. According to her Linkedin bio, Melnevia worked from October 2013 to October 2020 as GI Specialty Sales Representative at Allergan.
Likewise, she was Account Executive/Territory Manager 3 at Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company from April 2012 to October 2013. She was also a Neuroscience Sales Representative at Eli Lilly and Company.
