Mirra Andreeva’s sister Erika Andreeva is also a Russian tennis player born on 24 June 2004 in Russia, in the big Serbian city of Krasnoyarsk.

She achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 114 by the WTA on 24 April 2023 and also has a career-high WTA doubles ranking of world No. 478, achieved on 22 August 2022.

The talented tennis player started at the age of 5 years. Then, she played her first professional tournament in November 2019.

Furthermore, Erika has won three singles titles and one doubles title on ITF Circuit. In November 2020, Andreeva won her first senior ITF circuit title at the $15k event in Bulgaria.

She then won another ITF title next month at the $15k Cairo, Egypt. In addition, in March 2021, she won her third title at a $15k tournament.

Erika played her first important final on the ITF Circuit at the 100k tournament In May 2022 but sadly lost after winning the first set.

As she made her progress, Erika made her Women’s Tennis Association Tour debut at the 2022 Ladies Open Lausanne. There, she recorded her first WTA Tour-level win after playing only three games.

At the 2022 U.S. Open, she played in her first major tournament after winning all three of her qualifying matches to get into the main event.

Mirra’s older sibling also entered the main draw as a lucky loser at the inaugural 2023 ATX Open in Austin, Texas, where she won the longest match of the season so far against Harriet Dart in the first round which lasted for about 3 hours and 32 minutes.

She was ranked No. 135 overall. Next, she lost in another battle to Anna-Lena-Friedsam that lasted longer than three hours.

At the 2023 Miami Open, she received a wild card for the main tournament and won her opening match against fellow wildcard Ashlyn Krueger.

She had also entered the 2023 French Open as a lucky loser after the late withdrawal of another Russian Anna Kalinskaya.

Mirra Andreeva Family

Mirra was born in 2007 in Russia, in the big Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk. As mentioned above, she has a sister named Erika.

Their mother’s name is Raisa Andreeva. Unfortunately, not much is known about her parents except her mother’s name.

The Andreeva sisters began playing sports at home in Siberia, went to Sochi for formal training, and then established their training headquarters in Cannes, France.

Their father and mother supported both of the sisters to become professional players.
