The Ofsted report represented the school as good in every class other than leadership and management, where it was reported to be Inadequate.
The report also indicated that there were gaps in employment checks for staff members, potentially putting kids at risk. It had not proven that safeguarding was effective.
After that, many people signed a petition in favor of changing the way that schools are reviewed. The petition asks for a review of how Ofsted schools are reviewed and how the reports are stated.

Pressure has been scaling on the school’s watchdog in England following the incident, but its chief inspector defended the system used to give rankings.
Also, Ruth’s sister previously said the grading was sensationalist and deeply harmful. Besides, BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg suggested to Spielman that the family had raised concerns about her lack of communication since the incident.
