In the event, Dekker became the winner as she bested over 20 other competitors to win the coveted international title. Dekker succeeds last year’s winner from the Philippines, Fuchsia Anne Ravena.
Qatrisha Zairyah Kamsir from Singapore was the first runner-up, while Melony Munro from America became the second runner-up. Apart from that, Dekker has also been a part of other events in the past.
Once, she was a contestant for Miss Beauty of Noord Holland, which is a regional pageant in the nation. In the competition, Dekker was the very first Dutch transgender woman to have ever contested in a cisgender-minded beauty pageant.
