Lee Carter, a 52-year-old rapper who goes by the stage name Viper, was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a pregnant woman in Houston, Texas.
He allegedly held her captive in his garage for several years, forcing her to have sex with him and feeding her only snacks like chips.
Carter was taken into custody last Thursday at a local motel and charged with aggravated kidnapping. He was held on a $100,000 bond in the Harris County Jail as of Sunday.
The day after his arrest, police checked on a tip that the woman might still be captive at Carter’s Houston home on Perry Street, nine months after an initial April 2023 incident.
Inside, they found a dog, an empty mattress, and a deadbolted door that locked from the outside. But the woman was not found, and her current whereabouts remain unknown.
