According to her son Michael Farrell, who appeared on MASH alongside her then-husband Mike Farrell, she died on Sunday due to complications from a stroke.

The actress had been receiving treatment at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center. As per the source, she had a stroke eight days before her death. 

People have been sharing their thoughts and condolences to her family. Her co-star from MASH said, “Judy was a beautiful woman inside and out. We grew up together. This has been a painful loss, but we will always have the beauty of her memory. Rest in peace, Nurse Able.”
